Outspoken Celebrity of the Day: Michael K. Williams, AKA Omar Little from The Wire, AKA the greatest scripted series ever produced, speaks out in support of Maryland’s same-sex marriage bill on behalf of Marylanders For Marriage Equality.
“Gay and lesbian couples have the same values, like commitment and family. They want to build strong families through marriage.” Oh, indeed.

I love how yahoo captioned this photo “A United States fan wears a T-shirt showing her support for goalkeeper Hope Solo”. Indeed.
Hope Solo is quite popular with the ladies.

It also warms my heart to see more anti-homophobia banners at football games, you may remember the Werder Bremen display I posted a while back, this one is from another German side, SV Darmstadt 98
“Football fans against homophobia”.

I think this is awesome. Completely seriously. A little surprised that a team in a bigger market didn’t get on it first, but yay CLB!

This is my alma mater. I am so proud of these students, and so ashamed that I went to this school. Click through and read the zine if you have time - it’s not long and it’s worth it.

This is just fantastic. You all must, must watch it.
Yeah, I was tearing up, too.
The company Polarn O. Pyret says: “Our unisex collection (UNI) consists of clothing that is based on situation and function rather than on gender. As a clothing manufacturer, we want to make it our responsibility to offer an alternative to clothing that is based on gender. There is really no reason to design different models and fits for small boys and girls since there is no great difference in the way their bodies are shaped. We have taken an overall approach to unisex clothing, and consider not only color but also pattern and fit.”
AWESOME.
Love this. If I ever have a kid, I’m not finding out the gender beforehand, which will force everyone to buy gender-neutral colors. Also, the odds are pretty good that I’ll have a ginger baby, and gingers don’t look good in pink. Priorities!
